Dear Mike,
I just wanted to say thank you for a "once in a lifetime" skiing experience. I had a great time and achieved my CSIA level 1. There's no way I could have done that without the excellent tuition from people like Mike, Kim and Kevin and I can't emphasise too much how their knowledge and experience and their ability to diagnose and correct my bad habits has helped me to enjoy "the mountain experience". I have been in "ski school" many times before (in Austria, France, Switzerland, Norway and twice before in Canada) but I can honestly say that the instruction on a Dempsey course is second to none.
Add to that the comfortable and friendly environment and a large group of like minded people and you have created a unique and memorable experience. |

| Our coaches will guide and instruct you from Monday through Friday beginning at 9:45 am until 3:00 pm. An average class-size of seven allows for great personal feedback. Add weekly video analysis and written progress reports and you'll find yourself on a fast track to the skiing breakthrough you've been dreaming of. |

| Supergroups Are Here! |
We are pleased to offer our longer staying guests the option of doing Super Groups which is taught by level 2 and 3 instructors. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 3 students per instructor. Please note: super groups deadlines are extended till further notice due to great demand.
No exceptions will be made! The program is offered to skiers and boarders alike. Lessons start daily at 10:00 A.M. and finish by 3:00 P.M. Prices include liefts, lessons and accomodation. Supergroups starts December 4th and finishes April 17, 2006: See prices and dates page for details. |

Ski To Instructor Level
Our ski instructor courses prepare you for a career in ski teaching. Whether you choose the five-week or seven-week program, you will apply your skiing skills to the challenge of perfecting the demonstrations and teaching techniques of the internationally recognized Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance.
A valid working visa for Canada may make it possible for you to work as a ski instructor after successfully completing the course - a great way to test your newly acquired skills.
Our ski to instructor programs prepare you to sit the following courses:
Level I Course Includes:
An introduction to CSIA skiing and teaching methodology;
Strategies to develop skiers from beginner to intermediate (parallel) using the skill development method;
Techniques and strategies for effective detection and correction of errors;
Personal feedback on ski performance and a workshop on customer service.
Duration: 4 days (Monday to Thursday) - held the 3rd week of a 5 week tour and the 4th week of a 7 week tour.
Prerequisites: 16 years of age and strong, consistent parallel skiing.
Level II Course Includes:
Further skill development and teaching methodology;
Technique and strategies for effective communication, group dynamics, lesson planning and alternate teaching methods;
Training in selection of skills for the development of parallel skiers;
Developing strategies for effective detection and correction of errors and workshops on teaching seniors.
Duration: 5 days (Monday to Friday) - held in the last week of the 5 and 7 week tours.
Prerequisites: 17 years of age plus one of the following options:
CSCF. Level 1 or CASI Level 1 or CSIA Level 1. |
