| Whistler-Blackcomb can proudly boast that it's been voted the # 1 resort in North America for the past 10 years. Why? Because there's North America's greatest vertical rise - 5280 ft (1609 meters), seven thousand acres of skiable terrain, the most high speed quad chairs in Canada, abundant natural snow backed up by a sophisticated snowmaking system (the season extends from November to August), awesome ski and snowboarding festivals, a spectacular and expansive village and terrific night life for the young and young at heart. There's also daily groomed half pipes, HUGE terrain parks, the world renowned natural quarter pipe, boarder cross courses, and the legendary Wind Lip . We could go on but, in short, it's a skier's paradise. |
| Unless you have been here before it's hard to imagine what the village of Whistler has to offer.
|
| Great restaurants, bars, clubs and shopping. But it's so much more than that. Whistler has the atmosphere of a world class ski resort because that's exactly what it is. |
| |
| The main village is completely set aside for pedestrians. Walk through the village and see what is on offer, and what bargains you can find in the ski shops. Whistler also has all of the amenities of a mid sized town, with two supermarkets, bottle shops, a pharmacy and 2 cinemas, one with 8 screens. To name all of the stores would take too long here. It's enough to say Whistler has everything you could need for a ski holiday. |

| The Villages square is great for people watching. Wether it's coffee or a beer there's a place on every corner. |
